To those who attended my doubt and deconstruction seminar at Calvary Chapel Vista:
Hey friends! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It was such a blessing to see so many of you show up early on a Saturday morning to engage with the topic of doubt and deconstruction. That kind of hunger for truth, that willingness to step into the hard conversations for the sake of the next generation deeply encouraged me!
So many of you stuck around afterward to share your thoughts, ask more questions, and tell me how the session impacted you. Hearing your heart for those who are wrestling with faith gives me so much hope. The fact that you care, that you’re showing up, that you’re actively seeking to walk alongside others in love… that alone is a powerful testimony of God’s grace at work!
I truly believe that the work of helping those struggling with doubt and deconstruction is a lifelong mission — one that we are all being invited into.
This is not merely a trendy issue; it’s a generational one! We have the privilege of stepping into the battle… not with fear, not with frustration, but with compassion, wisdom, and the light of Christ.
As promised, here are some resources to continue this journey:
1. Recording of the Teaching
Unfortunately, due to a glitch in the recording system at Calvary Vista, the teaching we did that morning was lost. But thankfully, another version of this workshop exists! A while back, I had the opportunity to craft and teach this session at the CGN Conference, along with my friend Nick Cady. While it’s an audio-only recording, I still believe it will be a blessing to you.
Also, here’s 2 great conversations I’ve had with pastors on this topic.

2. A Resource Library on Doubt & Deconstruction
This is a curated collection of books, podcasts, videos, and articles from pastors, theologians, and ministry leaders I deeply respect.
My hope is that this will equip you not just for your own understanding, but as a guide for walking with those who are questioning their faith!

3. The GoodLion Podcast — More Conversations on Faith & Doubt
If this conversation resonated with you, I invite you to check out my podcast, The GoodLion Podcast. I’ve spent years diving deep into theology, doubt, deconstruction, discipleship, and the way of Jesus. There’s a treasure trove of past episodes available for you to explore.
If you find the podcast helpful, I’d love it if you could subscribe and leave a review. It helps others find the content and get encouraged as well!
Partnering in This Mission
I truly believe God is calling me to continue this work in the context of my local School of Discipleship, my podcast and through outreach to colleges and young adult ministries here in Oklahoma.
My heart is to equip more believers to engage with these conversations in a way that is biblical, loving, and transformative. But to do this, I need two things:
1️⃣ Prayer — That God would open doors, connect me with the right people, and continue to provide opportunities to teach and disciple.
2️⃣ Support — This ministry is working towards becoming 100% donor-funded. If you believe in this work and want to help me expand it, I’d love for you to consider becoming a monthly partner.
Your support allows me to focus more fully on discipleship, teaching, and content creation — all aimed at equipping the Church to engage with the hard questions.

Final Thoughts & Prayer Requests
Again, I cannot thank you enough for your time and investment in this conversation. I truly believe that God is at work in this generation, and He is calling us to be part of it.
Please pray for:
🙏 Open doors at local colleges for this teaching.
🙏 Wisdom and endurance as I continue to disciple and equip young adults.
🙏 Provision for this ministry, that God would bring the right partners.
If there’s ever anything I can do to encourage or resource you further, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Grateful for you all,
Aaron Salvato
