Jesus, the true light which gives light to everyone… was coming into the world, and yet the world did not know Him. His own people did not receive him. Imagine the pain of being rejected by your family, your friends, your people. Jesus suffered this rejection for us, and He is near to us in our own times of feeling rejected.
